Has anyone tried the breakfast @ S&D's Fresh Mediterranean Market? Is it good?

It's awesome! We love it and try to go at least once every trip. It isn't very crowded, has really good coffee (might be starbucks, not sure) a great make your own omelet station, you put all your ingredients into a bowl and hand it to the maker, a make your own mickey waffle and pancake station, a fresh juice station and lots of other great stuff! And it is cheaper than most Disney buffets... Have funpixiedust:

THIS!

Though we were there in late September of 2011 and it was pretty crowded and as such a little wait for the omelet station. Also you can choose to do either buffet or order off menu which is a nice option for those who do not like buffets.

Yes, it's very good food and a huge selection. The only downside is that the omelet and waffle station are a little chaotic...not much of a sense of a line. Of course, it could have just been when we were there and the people that were there at the time.

I got a 9am on a Mon, so I hope it's ok. Couple Qs
1. Does anyone know if they take Disney Gift Cards or just cash?
2. What's the quickest way to get here from Saratoga Springs?

1. No, they do not take Disney gift cards. You can use cash or a credit/debit card.

2. Take the bus to the Studios. From there you can take a boat to the Dolphin. You could also bus to the MK and then transfer to a bus for the Dolphin. With either of these options make sure to giveyourself plenty of time...at least 75 minutes. You could also take a cab.

Amazing!!!
Dh and I ate there recently and this IS the best breakfast place.

You won't be disappointed. So many stations to choose from!!

The Studios route is the ONLY route that makes sense in terms of taking the most direct route possible without unnecessarily long travel times. If they took a bus to the Magic Kingdom and transferred, they'd be going WAY out of the way and doubling back on World Drive.

As to Fresh, I've eaten breakfast there a few times over the years, and I've always enjoyed it.

I agree, however the boats can take forever. If the timing isn't just right it is actually just as quick to bus to the MK and then to the Dolphin.

DH loves it, we go once a trip, and never even get a reservation. I'm not much of a breakfast eater, but he loves it enough for the price of both of us and I can get some fruit, croissant, a mimosa and be set until a late lunch:)

I hate buffets, and this doesn't FEEL like a buffet which I really like. It also has great freshly made juices, made with beets and wheatgrass, etc. They are pretty awesome.

I like the boat from HS. Or the cab if we sleep in.:thumbsup2

Boats all the way for something different. I don't have a park planned that day so I'm not gonna be in a rush. :thumbsup2

I like the idea of something different & my DH does not care for buffets unless they are very fresh. He finds all of the WDW buffets to be really good, but typically he never does a buffet meal. I guess FRESH is a little different than typical WDW buffets? I imagine since it's @ the Dolphin. I expect high quality & a good healthy meal. :goodvibes
