French Quarter Buses

I has been 2 years since I stayed at the French Quarter and need a refresher about the buses? Does POFQ share buses with POR? Which is first on the pick-up and drop-off stop?

PS - Just a side note, who decided that bus plural could be spelled two ways? This really throws me!

Inflected Form(s): plural bus·es or bus·ses....kind of like canceled and cancelled!!

We stayed at the POFQ at the beginning of December and the POFQ and POR do share buses. POFQ is the first stop. Some days we did have our own bus but ususally it picked us up at POFQ and then we travelled all around the POR to pick up other passengers.

Whether or not PO-R and PO-FQ share busses depends on time of year and time of day. During crowded times, they each will have their own dedicated bus. We have stayed there when it was both ways, and neither was bad. If you stay at PO-FQ you will the 1st guests on and the 1st guests off, which definitely has its advantages.

BTW, the proper way to spell the plural bus is by adding another s and then the es.

Thanks for the clarification. I kept hearing that POFQ and POR shared busses but when my boyfriend and I were there in September, we stayed at POR and had our own bus every time we got on. They said "Riverside" on the screen and there were totally separate ones for "French Quarter". The wierd thing is that the crowds were so low when we were there I would have though that that time of year would have been a time that the two resorts shared buses but that was not the case when we were there. It was great though cuz sometimes we were the only two people on a bus to or from a park!
