French Onion?

We just booked a lunch at Les Chefs De France..it will be our first time there! How's the French Onion soup? It's my daughter's favorite soup and I hope it's good! Also, for lunch what does everyone recommend for adults?

The French Onion soup is really good. I had lunch there only once and I remember what I got was just ok. It was the French fixed menu. My husband loves the burger there. DInner on the other hand is good. Everything that I have had from there I love.

Mmm, I adore the onion soup there. The broth is so rich and delicious!

I usually get the soup and the salade de chevre chaud: baked goat cheese with walnuts, fresh grapes, tomatoes, endives and arugula salad.

We like the French Onion soup there. It is one of the main reasons we go there.

The French onion soup there is Yum-mazing! DBF had never even had French onion soup before eating there on our trip in 2006 and now it is one of his favorite foods! We've tried to recreate it at home-right down to the delicious Gruyere cheese (and have come pretty close, but unfortunately, we're not les chefs de France)! It's definitely a must try!

The French onion soup is amazingly good, as is the lobster bisque. We also really enjoyed the Les Tarts des Chefs (original flatbreads) a la Flamme Alsacienne - Alsace specialty - with creme fraiche, onion and bacon. Very rich and yummy... how French food ought to be!

I concur! It's really delicious. My husband also loved the lobster bisque. We plan to get an ADR for lunch on our next trip just for the soup and we're not huge soup people.

Well I'm going to be the voice of dissent here and say it's just OK. When I had it, the onions weren't sliced thinly enough, and that is the main secret to a good onion soup!

Its very good but be aware that it might not be served hot as they usually have them all sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be served....make sure you send it back

I had a solo lunch there in June and the quiche with the salad was out of this world...I loved it and would order it again!
