free wedding/birthday pins

I am starting a pay it forward disney pin movement. I was on my honeymoon last yr and came up with this idea. Next time your at Disney buy a bride and groom pin or happy b-day pin and give it to someone who is celebrating, but tell them that when they return that they must then give it to someone else celebrating. We did this in June. We bought a bride and groom pin, and found a young couple of newlyweds to give them too. They were shocked and thought that they were on candid camera. It felt so good to make someone happy!! Not only that but hopefully if they are decent people they will pass the pins forward to someone else in years to come. Who knows maybe when we have children if they vacation at disney for their honeymoon, they will be one of the couples to get pins. That would really be a miracle! Who knows, stranger things have happened in Disney!!! Thanks Jen & Doug

Ariel5884, welcome to the Dis! And what a wonderful idea. I think I'll follow your lead and "pay it forward" during my upcoming trip. I'll be staying at the GF, so it should be pretty easy to find a Bride and Groom.

That's awesome! We will be in Disney the end of October, and I'm not sure if I will do a b-day or bride and groom. I was thinking since I did a bride and groom I might do a b-day. Being a newlywed myself though I really want to give another bride and groom, it's so much fun!! You carry them with you until wella a bride and groom are spotted, then surprise them, but most importantly make sure they know to pay it forward on their next trip!

I guess the designs of these pins will vary from year to year, but I am talking about the collectible pins that are available in all the stores and resorts.

@ each park's guest relations you can ask for a free b-day button

AK & Epcot have their own design but MK & MGM share the same button

all day long the CM's in the parks, resorts & restaurants will wish you happy b-day & give you special treats & surprises!
