No, you can just go to the waterpark and tap in using your phone or MB. Your MDE knows that you are eligible for this day.

Note: It will likely be linked to completing online check-in so if you have not been to your resort, I would be sure that step has been completed.

Yep, you can just go - just keep in mind luggage storage. If you travel light like me, they have lockers at the waterparks, but they aren't big enough for an extensive amount luggage.
