Free Water Delivery for Costco Members?

Yes...you would just address it to yourself at whatever resort you're using:

John Doe, Arriving 5/05/07
Pop Century Resort
Century Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL

(Sorry left out a few details -- but I think you get the picture!)

Anyway, I don't know of anyone that's tried Costco yet but I know many of us have used Staples in the past because they used to offer free shipping to people that signed up for their rewards card, but now there's a minimum purchase.

Thanks for the tip on this. I will be doing this for our August Trip. Hoping the Cheerios will still be available as well as the water.

Aw come on, not even a little bit? :umbrella:

I didn't think we would miss the rain either...but a few times we've gone on vacations to much dryer climates and always feel like we're going to wither away! :dog2:

Dining and shopping choices...oh, yes...miss them bunches, however, we do not have the too high temps and humidity (sp?) here, so it is very nice. Do miss my freinds too!

I'm doing this for our upcoming trip, does anyone have the link to the post someone started with all of the resort addresses specifically for this reason?
Lesley

So. . ..I want to do this for our trip which is in FIFTEEN DAYS :cool1: Who has done it? Anyone get it no problem? When should I order to get it to me on time?
Lesley

A few people have done it now with no problems. I would order it about a week in advance. Just be sure and include your arrival date on the "ship to" address. Have fun!!!

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear it's worked well for others--I'm really hoping to get some water and power bars for our fall trip. I know it's early, but the package is booked, the flights scheduled, the ADR's done, the MNSSHP tickets purchased--I have nothing else to plan. I can't even tweak the ADR's, because everything I want is already booked up. Sigh. Whatever will I do for the next 3 months? (As I look around my messy, cluttered house and out the window at the blackberries encroaching on my mole-infested yard. That last bit was for you, calypso*a*go-go--those outside the Pacific Northwest probably can't relate;).)

That's so funny that you mentioned moles -- we never had a problem during the six years we've lived here until a couple of weeks ago. All of a sudden this innocent looking dirt mound showed up in the backyard...and then another...and another.... Yikes!

Luckily we don't have a problem with blackberry brambles but have a friend that had a heck of a time trying to get rid of them on a lot they just purchased.

Did anyone end up doing this? If so, did it work out ok? My son and I are off to our first trip ever at the end of August and I'm getting a little anxious over the final details. I would love to have some goodies shipped from Costco and not have to worry about it.

Thanks for any info! :)

Any recent reports...???

My sister is a member, and will be travelling with us. She can just order 5 or 6 cases for the 4 rooms, I guess...??? I hate relying on somebody else to take care of loose ends. While free ddp is all we need food-wise, we will definitely need water! I really wish Staples still gave rewards folks free shipping.

We did this through Costco for a friend back in May. It worked just fine. We ordered May 24th and it was delivered to the hotel by May 27th, just before they arrived.

Thanks so much for the update! Looks like Costco.com it will be!

What is Staples? I am only thinking the office suplly store..... is this what people are reffering to when they say staples??? :confused3

I read that Lesley did this and so did others so I am debating between Garden Grocer (and grabbing breakfast items and a few small snacks, plus shampoo and things I don't want to travel with) ....Hmmm not sure...

My total for non member would be:
Subtotal: $6.98
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Non-Member Surcharge: $0.35
Tax: $0.48
Order Total: $7.81

Yes, Staples the office supply store. Last year we ordered 2 cases of water from them for our Disney trip. It was cheap, as there was no shipping charge. They have since changed it so they now require a minimum order... something like $50. Costco will now do it with no minimum.
