Free upgrade?

We are off to Paris on Monday with some friends and I am going to call the HNY to see if we can get rooms near each other.

I wondered if its too cheeky to ask for a room upgrade to Empire State or one of the suites??

anyone had any luck?

I don't think i would have the nerve to ask for an upgrade to one of those.

They are very expensive so i think you could well be pushing your luck. I think you might be better off just asking if you could have rooms near each other to be honest.

or you could ask for nice rooms near each other? I'm with Poppie123, I wouldn't have the nerve to ask for such an upgrade.

personally i think an upgrade is more likely to happen when you dont expect it. i dont think asking for one is the way to go especially as people pay an awful lot of money to stay in the empire club and suites

If you call them you'll be in touch with a sales person, so he or she will try to sell you a more expensive room.
I think the nice things about upgrades is that they happen when you don't expect them. Have stayed at the Disney hotels lots of times, and upgrades don't happen a lot but sometimes they are quite spectacular
The nicest one we got was a phonecall a few days before we left from a cast member who asked if we would mind to move from Santa Fé to New York. Of course not
I can assure you all rooms at NY are great so you won't be dissapointed with a standard one.
