Free Universal Tickets Arirval

Just wondering if there is any more information out there on when Universal will be sending out the free 7 day passes to those who won them from the "Hero" promotion. I did receive the email letting me know that I did win and I think it said something about 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.

We will be leaving for a Spring Break trip to Orlando on March 14th. I am just wondering if I will get my pass by that date?

If we do get the free pass before we leave, my wife and I plan on doing a Universal/IOA trip. If not, then we will change things up and do Busch/Sea World. We will then go back for Universal later in the year.

Any idea on when these will hit our mail box??????

I was under the impression that you had to print out the email and take it to the will call window there. I'll check my email later and find out for sure, but I live in the area and I'm pretty sure you have to go in person to redeem it.


EDIT- Sorry, my bad, you do have to get the code in the mail and then go to the park. But, I haven't gotten mine yet either if that helps.

Straight from the notification email that I received on 2/5-

You will receive your Universal Orlando Park ticket confirmation code in the mail within the next 4-6 weeks. The ticket confirmation code mailer will be sent to the address you provided in your registration. You will need to present your ticket confirmation code mailer and a valid form of identification* at the ticket windows of either Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure theme parks. Your Universal Orlando® 2-park Unlimited Admission Ticket is valid March 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.

We leave on March 14th so I'm hoping it is closer to 4 weeks than 6!

I am also hoping for the four week mark as I am leaving on 3/15!!
