Free Umbrella Stroller available July 12th...

Hi all!

We are purchasing a second umbrella stroller for our trip so that our dds don't fight again over the one we have. I figure that it is cheaper than renting a double every day ($15 x 10 days) and we can use it to the busses and from the busses to our room. BTW, our dds are 4 and 3.

So, since we don't need it back home, I would like to leave it at WDW. If anyone would like to have it, please let me know. We can meet you wherever you would like on Saturday, July 12th (we are leaving the 13th).

It will be a nicer umbrella stroller, not the $10 one, but the $20 one (lol)... no canopy, but the string basket in the back type one. I don't plan on spending any more than $20 on it, so it won't be very fancy.

Ill be there on July 11 with my 6 kids.. at ASSp...Im trying to find a double umbrella for the 2 smallest ones but am thinking an umbrella single might be helpful for my 5 yr old also..

I was wondering if this one could be donated to the stroller swap too? I know that sometimes the OP of that post and the DIS'ers who are in charge of the swap have multiple requests for the same time period--maybe this would help? If you wanted to PM mom2of2, KathleenFL or Rileygirl, I'm sure they would help you out.

I've seen the stroller swap stroller recently, when we were in WDW in May we saw it parked in front of Kona Cafe at the Poly--the lime green ribbons from the DIS'ers looked great!

I PM'd Ginger and offered it to her for her stay. If she would like to THEN donate it to the stroller swap, or hand if off to someone else, that is fine. Or she can keep it. I just don't want to drag the thing home... lol

Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes, I guess I hadn't thoroughly read the post that Ginger wanted to use the stroller, I responded to your first post. That is great that you are willing to donate it.

Hope the link helped others to realize that there is a DIS stroller swap alive and well and hope it will help others during their trips.

What a nice offer, Karen. I'm so glad Ginger will be able to use the stroller again. And if she can then leave it for the stroller swap, even better.
