Free transportation offer, plus car rental for Aulani - question

I have seen this advertised for dates this summer on quite a few Disney sites.

Book a stay of 4 nights or longer at Aulani and get free round-trip transportation from the airport to the resort, plus a free 1-day mid-size Alamo car rental! This offer is valid for stays 6/14-8/15/16.

Book by 6/2/16. This offer is subject to availability. Nights must be consecutive. Offer excludes suites and 3-bedroom Grand Villas. Limits 2 rooms per reservation. Subject to additional restrictions and change without notice.

Our trip is already booked through DVC but at the bottom of the offer it asks that you do a price quote through a travel agent. Does that mean it is only valid if it's booked through an agent? There is no promo code or anything and it's way too early to call Aulani. Wondering if anyone has some insight...

They had this last year. At that time I was told it didn't apply to DVC point rooms only purchased with cash rooms. We have gone every year for ladt 4 years and are going again in May. Always on points. And we always get a car for the entire time even though we rarely leave. Parking is free and it's good for shopping and going to church on Sunday.

The only deal I ever saw for those using points was the second year we went when they had a deal that for every 5 nights you reserved with points they gave you two extra nights in the same villa. We had already booked 9 nights and I called and they gave us back 100 points since We were in a one bedroom ocean view villa at 50 points a night. I always hoped they would offer that deal again but have never seen it.

The couple we are going with has a cash room because they aren't DVC. Perhaps they can book it since it says for 2 rooms? Or only for 2 cash rooms?

We didn't plan on renting a car because right now it's $500 for the week. We will probably need the shuttle to/from and rental car for one day to go to North Shore and that's it. I can't see paying that and not using it.

We just got back a couple weeks ago, and we stayed with the free car and free airport transportation package. Actually, I booked online for a different promotion, which was 30% off and free meal credit. I had made the reservation for 4 or 5 nights, but then wanted to add more nights on to our stay, so I phoned them. The CM that I spoke to on the phone said that for the same amount I could turn my "room only" reservation into a "package" that includes free ground transportation and one day free car rental, and I still could receive the 30% off promotion and the free meal credits. So that was a very nice bonus! I didn't see this advertised anywhere online, so I think it is something that they do often. The CM explained that he had to make my reservation into a "package" and this meant that it needed to be paid in full one month prior to our arrival date.

If it says "Limit 2 rooms" that just means that you can't book 3 or more rooms with this promotion. We only booked 1 room.
