free taxcut software in mail

Has anyone else received this free software in the mail? It seems too good to be true, but I can't figure out the catch.

The software is free because then you pay when you file/print.

In the store you pay for the software and file for free.

Either way you pay.

If you qualify you can do your taxes & file for free online, through the IRS free file program.

I got the Tax Cut disk in the mail as well. I'm not seeing any catch yet. I normally use Tax Act for free so If there's a fee later on, I'll just switch back to Tax Act. Mine says you get 5 free e-files as well as free state.
