I just found out about these free buttons at Cars Land, which sound awesome! I really want Flo and maybe Filmore. It would be totally awesome if they started making Doc Hudson while I was there (I'm a Paul Newman fan). I've never been to Disneyland before. Are there other cool freebies like this I should know about? Thanks to anyone who can help.

I pointed this out in the Carsland button thread, but I don't think they have the Flo or Filmore buttons anymore. They seem to get them in and when the run out, they're out. I think only Sally, McQueen, Ramone, and the Sheriff are available at this point.

They have other buttons (birthday, celebration, etc.) that you can get at Guest Services and other locations throughout the parks.

You can get Disney-themed gift cards. You have to load the gift card (e.g., put $5 on it), but there is no service charge or anything like that. Assuming they still have them, there are Frozen themed gift cards that come with a Frozen pin on it. Those gift cards "cost" $75 because they're pre-loaded with $75 on them.

The Ghiradelli shop in DCA usually hands out samples when you walk in the door.

If ye should embark upon a wild and rambunctious excursion
upon an adventurous Jungle Cruise, remember to ask one of the cast members after you get out of the boat, for a map of your trip.

and of course dont forget the maps.. we always get an extra fastpast to put in a photo album..

Some might think this is lame but my favorite freebie is cups of ice water at any counter service restaurant even if you aren't buying anything.

My kids have gotten free stickers from security guards and CMs at the DVC kiosks. We were given honorary citizen buttons by a sweet CM who saw my son crying watching Olaf sleep. He was crying because it was our last night and he didn't want to leave. His special button brightened his mood :)

Will there be anything going on in January like the juju? Hunt they had for those little adventure land items? I would have loved to participate in that.

There is no way to know if they'll introduce any other 'land' based games in the future. Both the Advertureland (Juju) and Frontierland games ended a while ago. The Frontierland game was mostly free to play, but you the Adventureland game required you to purchase the game kits.

Unfortunately my daughters asked for these buttons at every store last week in Carsland and they were all out :(. They loved collecting them last time!

There are many little freebies at the parks, if you are willing to look around for them! Most notable are those buttons at city hall on mainstreet. They have birthday buttons, first-timer buttons, just married buttons, family reunion buttons, anniversary buttons, and I think they also have honorary citizen buttons! Buttons are a nice way to add pixie dust to your vacation, IMO. Also every time you pass a Cast Member, they will say happy birthday, or welcome, or whatever the occasion.

I have also heard of the CMs giving out free fastpasses for any ride except WOC or RSR good for up to six people. It doesn't always happen, but if you treat a CM nicely, or strike up a conversation with them, you just might be in luck! So be sure to be super nice to all CMs you see! They will for sure pixie dust you if you deserve it enough!

If you are fortunate enough to be able to pilot the Mark Twain they will give you a "Pilot's License" certificate. It's one of my favorite memories!

at the big thunder ranch, they usually have coloring activities for halloween or christmas. crayons & tables set out for kids/people to color those pages.

Don't forget about free chocolate from Ghirardelli's! I believe they are giving out peppermint bark for the holidays.

I believe you can get a free Wilderness Explorers guide from the Wilderness Explorer Trail in DCA.

Animation Studio, is always fun, and you get to keep your drawings (if you want haha, I recycled mine a couple times)

I have also seen CM give a glass slipper to a guest, but I am guessing it was for a special occasion or something.

Have fun!
