Free Shipping on Hydro Flask!

I guess my biggest concern is the feel and taste of drinking from a metal bottle.

There is no metal taste at all. Actually my husband and I both remarked how much better water tastes out of the Hydro Flask than the BPA-Free plastic bottles we were using previously.

OKay, thanks for that reassurance. Now... what color to choose?

Thanks everyone. I just ordered two midemouth, one blue and one red.

As a footnote Hydro site would not take my credit card and when calling credit card company found out someone had tried to buy $350 worth of chocolate from Mr. Chocolate in NY with it and they put a hold on card and they cancelled card to reissue after talking with me. had to use a different card. And yes I did ask Christy if she tried to buy the chocolate which she
didn't, which I knew.

For the 21oz...the green is the lightest color, so it might be the best as far as not showing any "bruises" as the bottle gets a little wear and tear on it. My favorite is the red though.

The color I prefer overall is the orange, but it wasn't available in the 21oz.

I think I am going to chose red 18 oz from Amazon for $18.10. Seems a good price.

I was interested in the larger bottles but am concerend that the 21 oz or 24 oz might be too tall to fit in the water bottle holder on my bicycle. 11-12 " seems like a tall bottle!

Just ordered 3 of the 2009 Original Narrow Mouth bottles! :woohoo: Not a bad deal with the free shipping. Now I'll need to figure out a way to tell them apart when more than one person is using them. Now if I can just find the perfect travel coffee mug, I will be all set and all the "junk" cups/mugs/water bottles are going in the trash!

WELL?????

It's been 24 hours, why aren't they here yet ???

What sort of company IS this ??

While there really is no "metal" taste -it is different than glass or plastic. It may be more of a texture thing -but it is different. Not enough to make me stop using it -it's the best d*&# bottle I've ever owned. I filled it at 6am with no ice, just cold water from fridge, let it bake in my car in 90degree heat for 12 hours and that water was still cool and refreshing. Simply amazing. Equally as good(or better) as my Thermos Nissan coffee mug that kept my iced coffee cold all day at work this week.

Hydroflask website has a 18oz. 2009 bottle for $15. Just ordered it with free shipping.

I was considering the 2009 one, but I like color!

Use a Sharpie marker and write names on them. Or just give give then numbers.

If I would get rid of all my "junk" cups, it would make partner very happy.
Does that include getting rid of refillable mugs from WDW resorts?!:scared1:

Yeah, these are cheaper from amazon. 19.99 for the 18oz.

Check the different colors, red one was even less.

Just curious, when the bottle is full of cold water does the bottle "sweat"?

It's a great day to be alive,
Carol

Hi Carol,

The HydroFlask does not sweat and that's what makes them so terrific and "worth the money".

If your bottle sweats, it means that the cold is escaping and condensation is happening.

These will not do that and that's why they keep things cold (or hot) so long.

Definitely worth the extra bucks.

Kevin

Wish you were nearby...I'd give you a big hug.

From all I have read, Hydro Flask bottles are fabulous. It is a double walled bottled with great insulating qualities.
But Themos brand also has a double walled steel bottle, description says it keep liquids cold for 12 hours. It has a flip top opening. I think I would like that style top better. If I get one, I will report back.

I've got two bottles on order today.

Kevin -- thank you for the big hug. I sending you a big bear hug right back.

Hydro flasks are great, i left one in the car last week. I had ice water in the bottle. When I opened it a day later there was still ice and water in the bottle.

What's acceptable as far as requesting or refilling water bottles in the hotels or at Disney parks?

Can you use the water spouts at the fountain stations?
