Free samples at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain

Somebody end our disagreement please. My wife says that Ghirardelli use to give out free samples and probably still does. I do not remember them giving away anything free. There has to be a chocaholic out there that knows for sure.

Yes They Do... !!! I do have a chocolate problem.. Usually there is a person with a basket of chocolates. The square packages of chocolates. The only problem is you get what you get and don't get upset...and they slice open the tops... so you can tuck it away for later

Dreaming of it now....one of my favorites..They make the best Vanilla hot fudge sundae ( dark hot fudge )

They have given away samples every time we have been there....Last one we got was the peanut butter chocolate.

(I LOVE THE DRINKING CHOCOLATE!!! Its sooo rich that it took me a long time to drink but well worth it!!!)

Same here. (nasty tasting thing to me, so I declined the samples next time we went in there)

Not a fan of the pumpkin carmel.They were handing that out the first week of September when we were there.. My daughter liked it.

Yes, the key is to go in the shop side. Everytime we have gone in August it is the regular caramel which IMHO is one of the best chocolates you can get anywhere in the free world. I make a point of walking in the shop "to browse" every time we are in the area.

When I was at WDW in August 2011 and September 2011 their store was always giving out free samples.

Not only have they been giving them out every time we've been in there, but we got them in San Francisco at Ghirardelli Square, so I assume they do them everywhere. We've always gotten caramel or something seasonal.

That place is always so packed we just keep walking. Maybe I will try to do DTD during the day this time...
