Free refills?

I was wondering if table service restaurants throughout the world give free refills on soft drinks?

I had a refill even before I knew my cup was empty.. Most of the Ts restaurant wait staff are really good at refilling...

Even the flavored ones at Sci-Fi Diner. I thought my husband would faint when he was given a second flavored Sprite (1) without asking for it and (2) for "free". He was nursing it because he thought he would have to pay extra for a second one!

I'm guessing no refills at the CS places? And yet they charge $2 for a soda?

Yes to refills at TS, no refills at CS, but the CS large drinks are very large.

There are refills at some counter service locations if you get the drinks yourself. For example two counter service locations which do that is Electric Umbrella at Epcot and Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney Marketplace. I believe there is a few more like that, however I can't remember the other ones.

Just wanted to add, many TS services will give you a refill "to go" too. I've done this many times. Size of refill will vary.

Not on milk! Remember that thread a little while back where the dad was shocked at how much he paid for two milks apiece for his two kids?

I thought they changed this so that milk refills are now free. I'm not sure though as we didn't try to get any refills for DS.

I do know that I wasn't charged for DS-3's chocolate milk/or other drink at any sit down restaurant that we went to. Sometimes we ordered a meal for him, sometimes we didn't - the milk was never on the receipt. ETA: We were there April 26 - May 6, 2009

I wonder if it depends if your kids are Disney Kids (3-9) vs. Disney Adults (10+) on how drinks are charged. Just guessing.

I seem to remember on a thread that some Epcot TS do not refill soft drinks without charging for them...not all are operated by Disney, but I do think all buffets incl. Epcot ones.

Yikes! And I'm so used to having free refills everywhere these days that I tihnk I'd blow a gasket to be at a TS restaurant and paying Disney prices for dinner and not have free refills!

So.....are there any TS places that you know of (anyone...) that do NOT do free refills? (Cuz those are the ones I'll just get ice water!)

We didn't pay for Milk refills when we were there last December or last May. I'll let you know if we do this time when we get back!

We have never paid for milk refills, we would notice because we would have added charges because we always use dining plan so we would get a seperate check if they charged us

I'm with you. I can't think of a TS restaurant anywhere that doesn't do free refills on soft drinks. I'd be pissed if I went to Disney and they didn't do it, especially for what they're charging.
