Free QS Dining and $100 gift card offer

Hi guys,

On the UK site there's currently an offer for free breakfast at the value resorts or free QS Dining package for moderates and above. I'm looking to book a trip for February next year; does anyone know when this offer is likely to end?

In theory it can end any time. You should read the T&Cs to see what the current 'Book By' date is.

Historically, they'll have a cut off sometime Oct/Nov where there will be no Gift Card, but still free dining, then it'll stop completely soon after that.

Virgin offer the same for 2019:
Book before July 3rd 2018 and stay at Moderate or Deluxe resort and get $200 with Free QS at Moderate or DP at Deluxe - stays between January 1st and November 30th.
Book between 4th July 2018 and October 22nd 2018 and get $100 plus the rest as above.
Excluded dates for free dining are from April 7th to April 26th

We booked early last year for this years September holiday and got the $200 + QS plan and then paid extra (not a lot) to upgrade to the DP.

Depends on your number of days, just put a booking into Disney's or Virgin Holiday's website and you'll get an upgrade price too.

According to current Virgin brochure it is £17/day/adult but this may vary depending on how you book (direct, via a Virgin store outlet or via an independent agent). When we booked the trip for this year the brochure difference was £14/day/person but when we booked via our local Virgin outlet we paid a little less than this. To get the Dining Plan for just about the price of a QS meal is awesome though - you don't worry at all about what you eat, where or when you eat or how much any meal or snack is going to cost!
