Free Public Dining

I just read a post on Mousavers (on facebook)...a reply to someones question that the Free dining would be open to the Public On Monday...

That would be great, I have a couple questions on this. I see that it's through Oct 2nd, but you just have to check in by that date correct? We are going for the very first time and check in Sept 30th.

Also, can I update an existing ressie to include this offer instead of the % off the room that I currently have? I think the free dining would save me more money in the long run.

aslong as you have checked in by the date it ends... U get it through your stay...
and you can update your reservation that you already have with the promo when it opens(as long as they have an opening still for your date)... You will Have to pay rack rate for the room...you won't get a discount on that too...so before you change figure out which one saves you more money... cause you can't change back once you change it!!

Is that free dining for everyone or just kids? And what about at a value? Is it quick service free dining?
I was thinking about book the kids stay and play free, so was wondering if I would get free dining for myself with that, or just my kids would?

Right now for my visa card they are offering Value =Quick service,
Mods and Deluxe...regular dining....
so that would be the offer they are saying they will open on monday

Dining would be for everyone in your party.... I believe you have to have atleast a one day ticket....

As long as you check in by October 2, you will receive free dining for the entire trip.

You can do the math and see which discount will save you the most. You can change the one you have now, they will just modify the existing reservation and update your total.

Can't stack discounts with disney....everything else will need to be Rack rate... full price...so figure out which deal is best for ur family!

Depending on how many kids you have that qualify and your length of stay, I'm betting the Kids Play and Eat free deal (free meals and park tickets for 3-9 yr olds only) will be better for your family than the free dining (free meals for everyone). You can't have more than one discount deal, so figure out which is better for you and go with that.

Yes, I assume your staying at a value... you can upgrade it... they charge you for the difference... its not alot.... I won't give you numbers because It changes during the year depending on peak, moderate attendance... but its not alot... someone may have a grid for the prices they can share ... you most def can upgrade it...u just can't downgrade!

If you are staying in a Value Resort, you can upgrade to the regular Dining Plan for just $10 per adult per night and $2 per child age 3-9 per night. (This represents the usual price difference between the Quick Service Dining Plan and the regular Dining Plan.) Or you can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $40 per adult per night and $12 per child age 3-9 per night. (This represents the usual price difference between the regular Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan.)

If you are staying in a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villas Resort, you can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $30 per adult per night and $10 per child age 3-9 per night. (This represents the usual price difference between the regular Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan.)
