I was at DL yesterday and the pirates quest was out with the other quests so you could take more than one. This was different than when I went two weeks ago when they would only hand you one. I have to assume that DL knows what they are doing and knows that many people are taking more than one. They apparently don't care, because it would be very easy for them to just limit each visitor to one like they do with the room.
When trading for the wells those not able to go to DL should keep in mind how easy it is for some to get a lot of these wells and not offer too much for them. The good thing about people taking more than one is that it will be easier for everyone to get a well by trading for one. The bad thing is that they will not be worth much in trade because there are or will soon be so many available.

Please don't grab "like 50 of them". Remember, when you do that, you may be denying someone else who only wants one. Us DIS members need to set an example. Two or three should suffice for most of us. If you have family or friends who play, grab a couple for them too, but 50 is a bit much. Use reasonableness, please, and think of ALL the thousands who play!

I second and third this. When we went to WDW on Sunday afternoon, there was a huge stack at each of the registers at the Pirate shop. Each stack had to be three to four inches thick with cards. When we came back a few hours later right before the park closed, every card was gone. There weren't that many people getting them or playing the quest that day. If we hadn't been persistent, we wouldn't have gotten any.

I have a stack of 100+ behind me..... They had plenty. The next day they did keep the quests behind the desk though.......

I'm going to have to echo Dara on this one...think about the people coming after you....maybe not today but tomorrow or the next day.....I have a trip planned for Sept and have asked a friend to send me some Pirates Quest cards just so I can do the Quest. Because I am really afraid that because of the greediness of some there may not be any cards left by then

Sorry, Newbie here. I used to live and go to disneyland all the time. now we've moved and I recently got onto vmk to capture that 'disney magic' i miss while going to the park.
I hate to ask for stuff on my first posting here, but it seems i missed out a lot of newer stuff at the park. would someone be willing to pm me a code for the pirate well too? i really appreciate it.

And I was just going to take about 10 to satisfy me for a while since I already promised some people codes, but don't worry, I have a lot of people that are going down with me so I will also have ablout ten room codes too!! SO I am not wasting any, woot woot!

i grabbed 5 extras to keep around until the quest is retired, and then they will be worth a little more.
