free park hoppers/waterparks

I know in years past I have seen promotions where Disney offers free park hopper and/or waterparks with the purchase of park tickets. Does anyone know what time of year they have offered this in the past. We are planning on going in august. Thanks

We were there in Jan and had this....my brother went the previous Jan and it was offered then too. I think Aug is normally just the free dining but to me I'd rather have FD

I'm pretty sure there was a promotion going on for the free upgrade in May

This promotion came out in March & was valid for visits from the end of April until the end of May. In years past, they've offered it right around this same time each year.

mousesavers shows this offered a couple different times, but not in August (the "Free Dining" special going on right now is big in Aug/Sept :

For check ins between 1/1/08-3/15/08 package deal (discount + free ticket upgrades) for Canadian residents became available on 10/18/07, exp 12/15/07

For check ins between 1/1/08-3/15/08 package deal (discount + free ticket upgrades) for Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders became available on 10/29/07, exp 12/15/07

For check ins between 1/1/08-3/15/08 package deal (discount + free ticket upgrades) for general public became available on 11/1/07, exp 12/15/07
