Free or cheap things to do in or around Disney

What do you all do in or around Disney that is cheap or free??? We are staying in a villa so food will be cheap, looking for some cheap entertainment.

Definately watch the Electric Parade and the fireworks from the beach at The Poly! Take Disney transportation there and enjoy!

at DTD the Lego store has a place where you can build and play with lego's for free.. (you do not get to keep the legos)

go to Fort Wilderness and and visit the petting zoo and the horses that are used in the parks

take the resort monorail around and go to each hotel for 'hotel seeing' when your done hop back on the monorail and go to the next one in the loop until you've seen them all..

there tons of fun things to do that are budget friendly..besides going to the theme parks

The Chip n Dale Campfire Sing-a-long at Fort Wilderness Campground is free. It is always on our list of things to do, but we always seem to run out of time. I know have seen threads in the past about this. It looks like a lot of fun--I just love Chip n Dale.

YES! fort wilderness is the best place for just hanging out an dseeing an d doing inexpensive things! Even eating there can be cheap at trails end buffet. We love hotel hopping....just walking the grounds....also, renting boats is lots of fun...research that because depending on where you rent what body of water you will be in. We like the potoon boats and last couple of times we had coupons for the mouse boats (which are now much slower). Also the boardwalk another favorite....just walk slow! you go around pretty quick but check out the hotels on boardwalk there spectacular!
