Free Memory Maker ?

I just received the AP discount that includes the free memory maker. It says it will be added at check in? My question is due to the fact that it is only being added at check in is there a lag for my pictures to appear? I know it says you need to purchase at least three days in advance for the pictures to show. Or is the fact that it is on my ressie mean I am already signed up for it? Hope this makes sense. I hadn't planned on purchasing MM so this is really throwing me. TIA

I *think* a poster on another thread said that it showed up on MDE when the package is paid in full.
