Free Internet--how does it work?

Ok--I am a technological idiot--I do have a laptop, which I sort of know how to use. When I go to WDW in November I will need to take it with me to check work email etc. How do I hook up to the free internet? Do I need to take a USB cable with me?

The cable will be in the closet on a hanger. When you log in, it will show you as a member or not. If you are, you get it free. If you aren't, you'll pay for it.

A Ethernet cable and connection on your PC is required. A 5 foot cable is provided for your use, you will find it hanging in the closet.
