I am a bit of a sceptic about this. Look at one page that was popular and it didn't mention this except for what a fan posted on the wall. Looked at another official page with a tenth the fans and it told of this special. It did list my local HD as participating, but it's not open right now.

Like I said, I found a Haagen Dazs page that mentioned this, only had some 30K fans and it said Official page. And lists my local store, which has a big closed sign on it, as one of the particpating location.

Found another page, 500K fans, only mention of Free cones was a wall post by a fan, linking to the fans site. Also said it was an Offial page.

I can go make a third Haagen Dazs official page too.

Hence why I'm sceptical. It's the internet you can post all sorts of things wether true or not.

What I know for sure, is my local store, is closed and won't be serving any cones free of not.

Well, according to the CBS news article I posted above, the event is taking place - I sure hope some Disney guests get a chance to indulge - sounds great!
