Hey girls, I thought I'd pass this along! I just got an email from Stan and he is starting a new thing if you order High definition. He puts together a photobook of stills from your video. He mails this out within a week of your wedding, so you get it right about the time you get home. I think this will be pretty cool to keep you held over until your video comes!

He posted mine up this evening, I LOVE it, I can't wait until I get it.

It was worth it to upgrade just to get all of the raw footage. I can't believe how much I missed that day!

With the upgrade, this is what we got:

1 dvd that would play on any player
1 hd bluray disk
2 raw footage disks
1 disk with our sneek peek

and now we get the book, so I think we got a good deal.

To anyone who is on the fence about upgrading to HD with Stan....DO IT!

It's one of our only regrets about the wedding, we didn't do it and now when we look at the difference we get sad.

When we got home, I emailed Bonnie to see if we could upgrade, but it needs to be filmed in HD so don't be stingy people, you'll regret it!

Go look at the sneak peeks, Meg. Watch mine then watch one that says HD under it...the HD is so much more crisp and less pixel-y.

We upgraded to HD a few weeks before our wedding and I am so glad that we did! After seeing the comparisons of the other videos. I actually didn't want to pay for it, but my dad insisted and he was right!

My wedding was March 3, do you know when he started offering that deal with the still shots?

So I showed DF a reg sneak peak and then a HD sneak peak ...I didn't even say why I was showing them to him and he was like "woah...why is that second one SO clear??" and I responded "Because they used HD...just like we're now going to" and then immediately emailed Stan LoL

He will give you a disk that will play on a regular machine and one for a blu ray machine.

Hi all just wanted to let you know that because of this wonderful thread and the info you all gave that I became hooked when I read this thread this past weekend. I now have booked Stan and STVS for our wedding what a big relief I was and stressing over video for weeks. Now I'm so excited that I just can't wait to get it back - you know in like a little under a year

I booked STVS, and would like to upgrade to Hd, but here's my question... My DF has a PS3 which plays blu-ray. but I want to give my parents a copy, and they only have a regular DVD player. Can you get HD on DVD or is it only blu-ray? TIA!!!
