Free fridge at Pop for medical reasons??

Does anyone know if you can get a fridge at Pop for medical reasons fro free?? I have diabetes and would need to store insulin. If so, what do I need to present to get it??

I think you can alll you have to do is let them know if for medical reasons and theyll give it to you

We have just asked for one in the past and been able to get it. It seems to vary on the size though, some get a small cube dorm fridge while others get a much smaller one that is only big enough to hold medicine.

What type of insulin are you on?? The new insulins do not need to be refrigerated anymore if open and you use it within 30 days! That reason will probably not fly for too much longer. unless you need to take a reserve for backup.

Just add the request on your reservation and state it is for medical reasons. When you check in, make sure the information is noted. It shouldn't be a problem. I don't think proof is required but just a simple doctor's note should be fine to carry with you just in case.

My daughter needs a fridge for her meds as well- last time we stayed there (a little over a year ago) we got a Dorm sized fridge for free when I called the Disney phone # and told them about our situation. They never asked for any form of proof. We greatly appreciated having it! We saved over $100 just to rent the fridge! We were expecting to get a "medicine sized" fridge, but got a larger one. We were happy that we did. My daughter needs to take her meds with milk- and sometimes in the middle of the night! If we didn't have room in the fridge for the milk, it would have been a HUGE hassle!
