Newbie here but have been lurking for years. Hope for free dining too. We are going the end of August.

You add it to your package and it applies for the length of your tickets. So for example, if you have 5 day passes you can park hop every day.

I'm not sure I am buying 11-26--11-27.
Those dates have been blacked out past few years. This is when we were planning to arrive too to miss some of the thanksgiving craziness. Last year we left the Tuesday before thanksgiving and it was jammed

If I book for Oct 31-Nov 5th at one resort then Nov 5th-Nov 13th at another can the two be linked and counted as one stay? I know free dining applies if you arrive during the dates listed and continues throughout your stay...so my question is does the same thing apply if you book two different hotels (say CBR and AoA suite) that are linked as one stay?

They would be considered two separate stays...for example for ADRs and FP+ you would have two different dates you can start making reservations. We are doing a split stay in October and even got two different mailings with the thing Disney sends home with info about your vacation (they arrived on the same day). You would only get free dining for your first stay unless your second stay also started on a day free dining was offered.

And the OP would also need to book TWO MYW packages with tickets, so that also wouldn't make it a good deal since ticket prices go down so dramatically after the first few days.

This from another site I found as it appears Disney had it on their site for a short time and taken down. Also closely matches up with another gentleman (Mr. Black) who we miss on these boards who often gets the dates correctly.

Free Disney Dining Plan is rumored to be offered at Walt Disney World for booking in late Spring 2016 with specific dates (see below) having leaked for August through December. With this special offer, guests booking vacation packages with non-discounted resort hotels and park tickets receive the Disney Dining Plan for each member of their party for no additional charge. For obvious reasons (who doesn’t love free food?!), the promotion is incredibly popular and some resorts that offer free dining tend to sell out quickly.

Exact dates currently are not known, but Disney briefly posted dates for the promotion on its site, before quickly removing the listed promotion dates:

• August 23 through October 1, 2016
• November 11 through 21, 2016
• November 26 through 28, 2016
• December 10 through 21, 2016

Will these leaked dates are entirely unconfirmed (we haven’t heard a peep from usual sources on this), they are very plausible given past years and normal blockouts that occur around busier times. These dates are really similar to last year’s, which gives them some credence (although dates so close to Thanksgiving is interesting).
