If you put it on a CC, they will automatically check you out and charge to your card. Your essentially paying for two rooms but for some groups the dining savings may well more than compensate. I'd venture that it would take 4 adults in a value room to come out ahead and that there is not point where it'd work $$$ wise for a moderate assuming no room discounts. You'd still have to buy the 1 day min ticket for each person but you could trade that in on a different ticket type or AP. There is also an offer for a 30% discount for an OKW or SSR studio with free dining which might work out better for many DVC members, esp if you plan to stay at one of those resorts anyway.When I first became a DVC member this year I had read that some DVC members take advantage of free dining (when offered) by booking in the resort that is offering it but stay in their home DVC resort. How do you do that, check in but never check out or do you go back and check out too? Just curious
