free dinning sept 2009

With the new C/S dinning plan I am thinking that they will offer this next year for free dinning, but my family really enjoyed the sit down meals, If they do come out with free dinning will you be able to upgrade to the regular dinning plan for the difference in price or will they charge the full amount ??

There is no way to really know what Disney will do. We can only hope that they will.

I know this year you were able to upgrade from free dining to the Deluxe Plan, so I am hoping you will be able to next year. We are paying for the regular plan and will use he free code, if it happens, to upgrade to deluxe. If not, I'll just wait for another discount, like the 40% off one we got this year.

Noone knows what will be offered and even if it was the CS plan, yes you will be able to upgrade. Disney doesnt mind taking more money

According to the UK boards they are being offered free counter service meal plan for moderates, and regular meal plan for Deluxe resort stays for Aug/Sept 2009. It appears that they can upgrade to the regular/deluxe plans. Their upgrade prices are high, but they blame that on Virgin.

I am planning a solo trip for Sept. 2009. (I know it's a long way away) When did they announce the free dinning plan for 2008? I want to know when I should watch for it. Also I didn't see Coronado Springs on the 2009 Dinning Plan list. Any ideas on whether it will be added? My hope is to get the free counter service dinning plan while staying at CSR since they have such a big food court.

I'm also hoping there is a bounceback deal. We go in just over 2 weeks and I will be looking everywhere for the flyer & calling the desk!!!!!!

I'm hoping someone gets there soon & can tell us what's being offered! Won't be long now!

Oh, and I'd pay to upgrade for sure. This year we're doing Deluxe, and next I'd do regular dining. I figured with the "free" CS if I did 2 TS OOP it would be the same as upgrading plus tips. SO, I'd rather pay to upgrade, get those 2 TS, plus get the rest for the remainder of my stay. Make sense?
