Free Dinning in December

For the people who made their ADR for end of Nov and first week of Dec (I think for free dinning)...did they add additional hours or lunch for CM like they did for free dinning at end of Aug/Sept. I saw where they have added hours and lunch for CM during free dinning for Aug/Sept. I will want to try CM lunch. Thanks

No one knows. This is the first time in a very long time (if not ever) that Disney's offered free dining in December to the general public. (Last year they had it for Disney Visa holders only.)

I'd venture to say that it all depends on bookings.

I think it is unlikely since a large part of this free dining is quick service. Unless a lot of folks(we did) upgrade qsdp to ddp there won't be a huge need to do that.

It will probably depend on how many people actually book for Free Dining in December. Since they are offering it for a considerable portion of the rest of the year, I doubt it affect any given week that much.
I could be entirely wrong.
Even if they do make this decision, it probably won't be announced until closer to the actual dates.

DDP did not work for me and would have cost more money than I am willing to pay, (I made early ressies at CR w/veiw and not concierge,etc<did my research on disboards>). Maybe would have done it if the stay of trip was longer and kids were younger, just can't pay Adult prices for kids (10+) to eat adult menu when I know pre-teens only want burgers and chicken fingers w/fries at CS. Hated to "throw away" free dining.... but ain't nothing free! The FREE DINING does make it more difficult to plan for trips (crowd levels @ parks) because it is good for some folks......but not for me. Love going during OFF SEASONS, probably will cancel or not plan in advance (24-12months)any future trips Planning is half the fun of any trip Still love wdw, but kinda thinking outside of the box, kwim?

I tried to book a CM lunch by online ADR, but couldn't get it. I'm assuming they didn't add a lunch.
