Free dinning before Thanksgiving.

So, we are planning to go to WDW during the week leading up to and including Thanksgiving. What are the chances that Free Dinning will be offered the last part of the week before Thanksgiving. I jut need one day to fall during our trip. We are arriving the Thursday before Thanksgiving. What are the odds that we will hit free dinning???

We received free dining by checking in on that Thursday in 2015. Last year we had an earlier trip so I don't remember if it was included in the dates or not. However, I'm crossing my fingers....and my toes......and my eyes for you to receive it this year as we want to check in that day as well!!! Here's hoping!

We had free dining this past Thanksgiving. Checked in the Monday before Thanksgiving. Pretty sure it had started earlier than that Monday.

Last year they offered free dining up to 11/21 (Monday before Thanksgiving 11/24) and created what seemed like higher crowds than normal for Thanksgiving week. The restaurants were a madhouse. That was the latest it has been offered. Prior years you had to have checked in on the Thursday or Friday before Thanksgiving. It also was offered for check in starting 11/26 through 11/28.

I think it will all depend on how their inventory is. If they have rooms to fill then they may offer similar dates, but with the construction at CBR and CSR and less rooms in inventory, it could mean more restricted dates. No one really knows for sure.

That is what I have been hearing. They need to just announce it already! The waiting is killing me! I LOVE free dinning and we try to schedule during those times every trip. Trying to swing an extra "girls" trip in at Thanksgiving and it hinges on us getting free dinning. Fingers crossed!!

Last year the only dates that week were the Sat-Mon right before Thanksgiving, so if you check in on Thur before (and it is offered), you'll need to do a split stay to get it for the latter part of your trip. You'll have to pay OOP for Thur and Fri.
