Free dining?

If you book your resort thru DVC, are you eligible for the free dining??

Free dining is only available to guests who book a complete package through Disney. That package must include room (at rack rate) and tickets. Anyone booking a room at a discount (AP holders, AAA members, DVC members, etc.) are not eligible for the free dining promotion. Since we are not paying anything close to rack rate for our DVC accommodations we are not eligible for the free dining. If you figure out the cost of your DVC accommodations over the years and add in the cost of the meal plan we are still way ahead of those who pay for hotel rooms each year and get the "free" dining. In all honesty, it really isn't free. Disney is making up the difference in cost on the full rack rate of the room. It's a way for them to fill rooms during hurricane season.

No - free dining has always been available only to those booking a room/tickets package through WDW Travel.
