I am preparing for our Nov visit to the Yacht Club and making our dinner reservations. I have dined at a few Disney's restaurants over the past few years and never really had a bad experience. This year we are trying to go to some of the more popular ones but since I haven't eaten everywhere, I was just wondering whats your favourite Free Dining experience, best value, best food, etc...

Has anyone recently tried Le Cellier's lunch menu? What was it like? Is it worth going for a 3pm lunch reso?

Beach Club's Character Buffet - your experience...good/bad?

Any must go places to eat - especially with Free Dining.

Thanks Everyone!!

we upgrade from quick service to MYWD as we like the one TS and use some for character breakfasts. really like Cape May with Goofy and gang dinner is great but no characters there. have been several times and all been great. lots of options on foods there for all meals.
Lecelliers is good anytime and lunch is 1 TS but dinner went to 2 this year and not worth that with Konas grill still at 1 TS and great steaks.

we like Donalds safari breakfast in AK and Hollywood and Vine in HS and 1900 Park Fare for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast. GF Cafe is good for dinner and is 1 TS and has great ribeye.. we like Liberty Tree in MK is family style dinner but hit it every two trips or so and prime Time diner in HS is lot of fun but no characters except there servers.:rotfl2: also whispering canyons in WL is fun they have things for kids to do and can order off menu or family style and have had all meals there and all were just as good...however breakfast there is fairly cheap as well as at Konas for breakfast so we pay OOP for those..so many like Chef Mickeys but was so lousy two years ago have not been back service was bad and food dried out. captains grille is good and so is the Wave... can go on allears.net and pull up all menus as well:surfweb: Yachtclub used to be good 2 TS but Konas better and only 1 TS. Brown Derby good in HS and Artist point is as well but both 2 TS as is Contemporary Grill. O hana's has character breakfast and is good but then dinner was great there as well..and Bomas' we have done breakfast and dinner and both excellent.

There's a whole restaurant board that will also provide good info, but it all depends on what kind of food you like.

For sheer dinner quality, we loved Artists Point, Yachtsman, Narcoosee's and Jiko. All are 2 TS meals. Jiko especially was worth it, tho. We went to the Biergarten last year and had a blast. Food was good, plentiful, music was cheesy but fun.

For breakfast, we love the Crystal Palace character meal. Not as cramped as 1900 park fare and equally as good food.

We tend to splurge for dinner and supplement with our QS options. Cosmic Ray's, for example, has a 1QS point lunch meal that is a chicken (drumstick and breast) and a 6-rib meal with green beans and a chocolate cake. It's pretty good and is easily split between two adults. If we don't have any points left over, we sometimes go to one of the resort bars for drinks and apps.

We like: Ohana, GF Cafe, Whispering Canyon, Teppan Edo ( although if you have a similar restaurant at home, I'd skip it ), Cali Grill ( for 2 TS) and never miss the HDDR as even though it's 2 TS it includes beer/wine/sangria and grats, plus a great show. Oh, and we LOVE Tutto Italia.----Kathy

We recently went to Le Cellier for the first time in July on FD and went for lunch as it is one TS credit. The food was really good, one of the best steaks I have ever had. My wife loved the cheddar cheese soup too!
