Free Dining What resort did you choose

Made reservations in Feb. POP - yes, it was my first choice. I would not have changed hotels to get FD. :thumbsup2

I booked Coronado Springs this morning. :woohoo:

I only waited about 20 minutes on the phone and got the resort I wanted!!!

Beacuase there are 8 of us - 2 adults and 6 kids, we need some space. I would love to stay at a value or moderate resort to save some $$$$, but we are too cramped up with all of us. So I called this morning thinking that DW would not include any 2 bedroom units - but to my surprise they are!!! We are booked in a 2 bedroom unit at OKW for September!!!

We've stayed at OKW 3 times before -twice in a 2 bedroom and last year in a Grand Villa. We're familiar with the property and how to get around, so that is a benefit.

We've never done free dining (paid for it last year) so I'm hoping it's a real savings for us. As far as I can figure (and I'm not good with numbers) we will save nearly $2300.00!!!!! That would be the cost (approx.) if we paid for DDP ourselves.

The only question I have now, is - I don't actually have my Visa in hand, it's in the mail on the way.:confused3 I was told by 2 CM's on the phone to call back when I have it in hand and add the code for the free dining. Hopefully the 2 bedroom unit we have will still qualify for the free dining plan at that time. They do number the amount of rooms available for the promotion, so all I can do now is keep my fingers crossed that this room will still be available on the plan. My other option is to call on Thursday when it's available to general public and see if it qualifies then also.

I'm thrilled to be able to use this free dining!!!

We're Staying at POFQ with FD 9-6 thru 9-14th.
We saved $1216.00 for 4 people--2 Adults and 2 Disney Adults.

Just doing a long weekend stay at Pop for our Anniversary, and yes, Pop was our first choice. I, however, waited on the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes before the CM came on. Ugh! Glad I got it, though!:thumbsup2

We're staying at the BeachClub Villas, 9/19-9/27. My parents' studio villa qualified, but as of today, our 2 Br Villa did not.

But, hey, I got to save my parents over $600, so still a win!

Hopefully they'll add the 2 br villas at some point and I can get the fd for us and my brother's family!

Yacht club 9/6-9/13 Yes! First choice....but now I'm thinking I might save extra $$ by staying at CR....is the pool at YC worth the extra $$? We've never stayed there and would like to try it out....saved over $1000 for the 5 of us! :)

mamazaz,

We have 6 kids also and book two rooms at the Values. How much is a 2 bedroom at OKW? I just always assumed 2 bedroom units were out of our price range.

We are staying at the POP and it was my first choice, Sept 10-16, for our 10year anniversary. My husband has never stayed on property and has only been to disney 2 times (1984 & 2004). Should be fun!!

Could you call Disney Visa and get your CC number?

I modified existing ressie at POP for 9/19-9/27. 4 Adults and 3 Children (4,7 & 9) in 2 rooms. In total we saved $1455 for all of us to have free dining

For myself, 15 DS, and 2 dd (2,1) at the All Star Movies, with Deluxe Dining , and 1 day tix (we are AP holders) 9/12-9/17 $1000.64 Seems like a pretty good deal!

Okay after calling the dh with the amount, he suggest canceling our Oct ressie and adding him to the Sept one and adding a few nights. So for 8 nights, deluxe dining and so on $1800 for myself, dh, 15 and the 2 toddlers. An the great thing, 3 MNSSH parties during our stay!!!!!

we always do the value...because we do a value we can take more vacations
& for us its well worth it:thumbsup2

We got our first choice, POP, two connecting rooms, 8/24 - 9/1, 2 AD, 4 CH (12, 10, 7 and 1) $1,854.69!!!!!!!!!!
