Free Dining - TA on hold for hours - Thank you?

Not sure where to post... TA was on hold for hours yesterday with Disney and was successful at securring FD for our fall trip. (Some in their office were on hold for 7+ hours!)

Is it appropirate to send a thank you note/gift? Would she be allowed to accept gift? If so, ideas?

I'm not sure if they are allowed to accept gifts (not that I don't think they are - I just have no idea), but I feel as if a 'Thank you' card could go a long way. Even if you don't send an actual tangible gift, a card would be thoughtful. Maybe include a $10 Starbucks card?

It's true, I'm in a couple of TA facebook groups and there were many of us on hold for 7, 8, 9+ hours yesterday. Totally insane. Somehow I was lucky and got through in just 2 hours, I felt very lucky. This morning I've already been on hold 3 hours and counting. Crazy times!

I think it would be very much appreciated! Most of us TA's love our jobs anyways, but these wait times are crazy. I was on hold over 4 hours yesterday and had to hang up. My clients are taken care of, but I did have a change I wanted to make to a reservation on the phone.

I'm a ta also. Took til 5pm yesterday just to get through then was on hold until at least 10...I fell asleep! Lol. I hit through at 8am this morning and am still on hold!

Starbucks has an e-gift option, so I sent a $10 coupon with a note through their site. Hopefully she will be able to accept. I just really feel like she went above and beyond and was so thankful I didn't have to sit on the phone all morning/day!
