Free Dining - Sold Out: Resorts, Dates??

I just got a reservation at Cornado Springs, and they had all the moderate open, I wonder why they are telling people everything is booked??

If I'm not mistaken the All Stars no longer share buses, at least I recall separate buses. I noticed that on the walk to the PC bus I can't remember which park, but the PC bus was the very last one, and I believe the Sports bus was right next to it.

We stayed at Sports in 2005, I'd have rather stayed there last year, because the wait for the bus at PC was HORRIBLE. It did not matter where we were going, or the time, we had to wait for sometimes the 2nd or 3rd bus going and coming.

I agree! We had THE WORST bus experience when we stayed at Pop. It wasn't even during peak season and it wasn't even a day or two, it was EVERY day. We will never stay there again. DF has refused! We'll stay at the All Stars or a moderate instead. No problems with buses at the All Stars for us.

We wanted Pop Century but it was not available. We are staying at All Star Music 9/3 - 9/8.

We might have to change our dates though. It looks like a Sat stay might be required for us to use our frequent flier miles.

I originally wanted coronado but was told it was sold out, I booked the cabins for 6 nights. There are expensive without a discount but got the free dining!

Thanks for the heads up on Washington post. DB and I was discussion contempory for 3 days but decided to change it to 5 days at CS but it looks like the only moderate left is CB. I booked it anyways hoping maybe something else will turn up. I looked though all the pages but I don't see a place where I can cancel. Would I need to rebook when CS opens then call to cancel or is there a way I can just change my reservation?

You can just call and change your reservation if CSR opens up. I changed mine over the phone with no problem, and even kept the same ressie #.
Just a thought, did you look on the websie or did you get this info on the phone? I know my SIL was looking on the website and thought there were only 3 resorts available with the package, because that's all they show. I explained to her that you have to go over to the right column on the page and choose the resort you want from the drop-down menu. Then you can see if it's available or not. I'm just wondering because for our dates (9/12 -9/16) all 4 moderates are still available. Of course, you may be going at a busier time than us. Good luck!

It depends on the dates your looking for. some dates are sold out.

My friend and I both got rooms at Allstar Movies for only three nights, but it was so last minute that's all we could pull together. 9/7 - 9/10 with three day park hoppers.

Better than nothing!

Well, we have a scheduled trip for 9/26 and then FD came out and I wanted to see if we could move our trip back a week and I called yesterday and they had a room @ ALL Star Sports for a ck in for 9/22 which would had been great but I think the grandparents might go and they said we couldn't put 4 adults and a 6 yr old in one room!!! Shucks!! I couldn't fib cause we had to get the myw package for the fd for everyone!!! I would had loved the free dining!!! I will just have to pay for it!

Already have AS-SPORTS(standard room) for 9/12 - 9/17 but TA just informed us of opening at AS-MOVIES(preferred room) for same dates! I think we are going to switch to MOVIES so our dates at SPORTS will be opening up.
Still trying to get POP and also got quote online for Coranado Springs for about $200 more than preferred room at MOVIES we might decide to go there instead of the value resorts!! ºoº

POFQ was sold out of standard view rooms when I booked the first day and is now out of any view for the week of Sept 22-28. Glad I got it while I could.

we booked with our TA on Friday for sept 17-23rd and she said all that was left in all stars, was sports--so we took it,,,dunno how many spots were left though.

I noice now for my dates 14 Sept - 24 Sept that All Star Movies and All Star Sports have opened up, that were previously "sold out" a few days after free dining first came out. There fore I still hold out hope that rooms at Pop will oopen up once all the "holds" that TA's and people have put have expired. At first i was scared those rooms wound't got back in to the inventory as free dining rooms but it looks like they do... which is great for me!

Just booked an hour and a half a go for caribbean beach 8/28/-9/4/ no prob. Im so excited last i was there july 2005 stayed at pop but ive never stayed at a mod cant wait.
