Free dining select dates thru SEPT 2012

SO for the past four or five days at different times of day the special offers page @ the Disney Website has been changing the free dining offer form dates thru March to dates thru Sept along with Canadian discounts any one else notice this : this was copied and pasted directly from the website.. We are traveling in March and are going to do free dining and now we are going to go end of Sept since they are offering it then too

Its weird that its comes and goes... I wonder if you called and told them you saw it they would honor it since it is on the website.. I have been taking pictures of it when it shows up so I can show my travel agent.. It is usually at night or in the morning but I just refreshed my screen and it is still there...

That looks like the Canadian offer to me since it gives the savings as US$.

I just called & decided to go "fishing". They told me that it was indeed a Canadian offer. So I tried the "stupid" card and said it would allow me to book it online even though I'm not Canadian and I was told IF, by chance, the system somehow allowed me to book it (which the CM said was doubtful) I would have to show proof of Canadian residency at check-in. If I couldn't do that, I would be charged full price for the package ... Oh well, I will simply wait and HOPE for a FD offer in August.

What appears in the URL/address bar of your browser when you see (what must be the Canadian) offer?

The difference in address is not very different.

I booked this offer a few weeks ago (for August) through a link a friend sent me and I live right here in USA and had no problem. I put my Pa address through during booking and it shows up on my reservation confirmation.
Also nowhere on the link did it say that this discount was for Canadian residents only (as you would see for the Florida residents discounts) and nowhere does it state that I need to show proof of residency.
I will be printing the link out for check-in just in case I have any trouble. But I dont really expect to have any...

wow. this is tempting. those are the dates we want (September). we are Canadian. we hold CDN passports but currently live in US. hmmmm.

I live in the US and had the same dates through September, appear tonight. Others haven't seen it & when I checked through my cell phone, it only extends the offer through March 2012.

I know it keeps going in and out..sometimes its there sometimes its not. I have been stuck on it all day I log in and out and still the Sept dates come up.. As pp said it does look like it is a Canadian offer but its the only one thats showed up all day and the only way to book it online is thru that offer weird....

I posted both the codes for QS & DP for the dates on the main page with a link to a picture of the available 2012 dates.

ETA: I just viewed the Canadian offer & mine may be the Canadian offer. I don't know how I got that one, if it is!! Grrr....

I just checked this out also. If you go to Disney World Resort page and scroll to bottom of page, select "Canada" international version , there goes the offer & dates for Free Dining. So far doesn't seem like it's offered for US, yet But who knows what tomorrow will bring!

I was on a website and seen the ad for free dining offer that goes into Sept and checked it out and then when I went to the disney website later that evening, I didn't find it anywhere... I then checked my browsing history and found out it was indeed Canadian offer only.

Yup booked one room last night on the website wasn't sure I would be able today i'm a busy bee lol and the free dining offers ends today and when I called this am they said the room I booked last night online was indeed a Canadian offer and they had to change it to a US offer but I agree I bet they will offer it for the US now in the fall!! Hope so because Ill book in the fall too if thats the case!!

im checking in august 5th 2012.. if this is indeed true about it being a US offer soon im gonna miss it... free dining starts 8/19.... my daughter starts highschool preseason soccer practice that week so we have to go 8/5-8/14... i bet i miss all the good promos...stinks because its getting really expensive without discounts and im doing dining plan at a value resort....oh well..

Unfortunately your right. The beginning of August is still considered prime Disney time since Florida schools (and all schools really) are still out. Disney doesn't start discounts until schools start for the majority of the country! I luck out because my kids don't start until after Labor Day!
