Free dining question

I have already booked a vacation for 11/29-12/6. For this reservation I was able to use a pin code that gave me 40% off my room. My question is... now that they are offering free dining to visa card holders can I call and add this code to my current package to further reduce the cost or is it not applicable because I already have the vacation booked?

I hope this makes sense!?

TIA for any info.

You can't stack discounts. If you want the free dining, you'll have to re-book at full rack rate.

Depending on the resort and the number of people in the room, which one is a better deal is up in the air. Value resorts tend to favor free dining, deluxe tend to favor 40% off, and moderates need to be priced out. ;)

Thanks! You are right--I buckled down and called myself. I have a much better deal than if I would take the free dining offer, so I'm stickin' with what I have. Thanks again!

We had the same thing...for the same dates! We actually ended up cheaper dropping the 40% off code and switching to the free dining. It wasn't much cheaper, but every little bit helps. It was like $150 cheaper. We are staying at CSR. It is my husband, me, and our 2 year old - which of course is free.

We (myself, DH, DD4, and DS2) are staying at the Wilderness lodge. Sticking with the 40% off code is saving us 300 dollars over the free dining! Funny, how it works differently for different places!
