Free dining question

If you all will humor me just a bit & let me make a few assumptions- I'd like to ask a quick question.

#1- We are booked in a deluxe for labor day week. Sooo.....

so let's assume there will be free dining
let's assume that it won't be different where you can get the deluxe plan if you stay deluxe & regular for moderate & counter for value. let's assume everyone gets the basic plan for free.


HOWEVER- the deluxe plan would really work better for my family. Can I purchase the deluxe for ONLY the difference in $ between the cost of the deluxe & the basic plan?

In other words- can I pay to upgrade to the deluxe plan- while not being charged the "free" price of the basic. lol.

if that make any sense at all.

I know last year you only had to pay for the difference between the two plans.
