OK, I need to know if any of the dates that fall during the Food & Wine Festival have ever been included in the free dining promotion. We are planning on going October 4th-9th & I just found out that the Food & Wine Festival is going on during that time. We're not going for the festival, we picked this date because it is fall break for my dd & she won't have to miss school... so if free dining is offered, do you think these dates will be covered or do you think they will be blacked out? :scared:

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!! :worship: :worship: :worship:

The past few years, the Free Dining promotion ended around that time, maybe October 1st/2nd.

I think that your stay may fall just ouside of it. but you never know

In 2007, we were there starting the last day for the free dining and were there for 2 days of F and W. For 2008 my daughter booked the bounceback and the last date for that was I think Sept 28 so we were there again. Last year the regular FD ended around the 20th ? of Sept for the last first day. But, Disney Visa offered the free dining starting on the 28th through Dec 20, 2008 as long as Dec 20 was your first day of stay many got to be there for Christmas with FD. Hope this helps.

Last year we went Oct 1st through 6th with free dining. However, I think it was just offered to Disney Visa cardholders. I can't remember for sure, but others on the Dis have said so, and I believe them!!

FYI - great time to go! I would avoid Epcot on the weekend nights, though. We went the prior year on a Friday evening (during Food & Wine) and it was packed. Also, several people were visibly intoxicated. Just didn't feel like Disney to me!

Some of my friends are going to be there at exactly the same time as you! I'll ask them about it and I'll let you know. :)

Thanks for the replies!!!! I appreciate any information you guys have!

Every year for the past 3 years our free dining dates have coincided with the beginning of the F&W Festival. This year, our free dining stay begins the same day F&W begins (September 25).

HTH :cutie:
