I was trying to help a friend plan a trip for next May/June. I saw there was free dining of she checked in by June 2, and she was really excited. So today, I looked and that offer is not on the Disney website. Is she too late? Any other deals coming up that might be just as good? It is 2 adults, an 8 and 9 year old.

I guess I can talk to her about the YES program and a condo. That's what we do. She really wanted to stay onsite though.

I just saw it on there about 10 minutes ago. I was checking to see if they extended the dates. The booking deadline still said yesterday but I was able to pull it up. Here is the link I used ~ http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/special-offers/

Wonder if has something to do with cookies on my computer??

We're going next May and the FD was not offered during our trip days. I have been watching for it to come up, after the Holidays, for more days in May....

Well, luckily her dates are flexible. She just wants to go between 5/27 and 8/23. Value season starts on 8/14, and it looks like the cheaper way to go would be to get room only at a value for $85/$95, get YES tickets and then do food OOP. With typical quick food service, I figure the QDP is worth around $26 per day per adult($10 x2 for meals and $3 x2 for snacks) and $16 per day for kids($5 x2 for kids' meals and $3 x2 for snacks) plus a refillable mug for each person, which I think is $12. Anyway, for 7 days, I came up with around $500/food they would get with the QDP. If they go in value season, the room would cost only $695. 7 bday hoppers through the YES program would be $735, so they would have around $550 for the food they would have gotten on the QDP(we all know they will spend more on food, but that is either way)

I don't know if they have AAA, but if they do, there is another $70+ savings. And maybe another deal will come up, like the 4/3 deal, since the economy still stinks.

I missed it as well, planning on going in sept..hope they offer it, if not we will stay on the beach and go to universal and may stop at disney for a day..

What about the kids stay and play free? It includes tickets and dining doesn't it? Both of their kids would qualify.

I suggested that one to her, as well as the YES option. She is trying to decide at this point.

Tickets free only.

Last year Disney had the "kids stay, play, and dine free" offer.

Yes, it is tickets and room(which is always free for kids;)) Getting the room during value season, buying YES tickets and paying OOP for dining came out cheaper, but if she wanted to do the DDP, stay and play would work.
