I have the following in mind:
Wilderness Lodge
Park Tickets
Interline
$1598

or

Port Orleans Royal Room
Park Tickets
Free Food
$1639.

What would you do? Help a woman out... THanks!

What's Interline? I've read about some non-US visitors who book packages that include gift cards/vouchers equivalent to a certain amount. Would Interline and FD have the same value?

Looking at the 2 offers, both include room and tickets. POR offer includes FD. If Interline is a discount or voucher :confused3 that covers the same amount of food as the POR FD offer then I would choose whichever resort you would prefer to stay at since there's only $41 difference.

Edited to add: I just saw your same question on the resorts board and it sounds like you'll be paying $1598 with the Interline discount plus you'll have to pay for all of your food OOP. In this case I would choose the POR FD offer.

Are the two options for the same amount of days at wdw? If yes, I would do wilderness lodge. The royal rooms are nice, but I prefer the atmosphere and location of the lodge. Plus, for us free dinning doesn't usually fit into how we like to eat and spend our time at wdw. For us it's too many desserts, not enough apps, too many TS meals.

Btw, I'm assuming that you'll be paying OOP for food using the interline discount.

I posted on your other thread too. How many are going?

In order to compare your savings you need to price out WL with FD and see if it's worth taking the interline discount (which i think is 40%) and paying for food.

Price out POR-Royal room with interline and see what if anything you save with FD. If your budget lets you stay at WL and pay OOP for food then it's just whether you want a moderate or deluxe at that point.

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for your comments! We are 2 adults and 2 kids.
With interline which is only a room discount and no food we get a great
Deal at the lodge but we pay for our food. Bummer...

I think we have decided to pay for our food and stay at the lodge!

We are going in Christmas time.

if you can swing it WL is amazing at Christmas. For four people though I think FD is a better deal. Price out FD at WL then budget in what you think you'll spend on dining if you go with the interline discount and compare the two to see if there's a savings going with that.

I think I will do that. Thanks! I hate making
Decisions... Oy vey! Lol

You should see my spreadsheet

I know how you feel b/c we get a travel discount too and sometimes even though it's a great savings and the only way we're ever able to stay deluxe it's not always the best savings for our family.

Have fun!

I have never stayed at either resort although I have been at other deluxes and moderates. We are a family of 5 and the only time I would "suffer" in a moderate room with that many people would be for free dining. But I could probably only put up with that small a room (and no balcony to escape my family) for more than 4 nights. But that's about as long as I could stuff myself on the dining plan anyhow. Would you consider a split stay? Although I am not sure how long your stay is. And make sure you stay w/ free dining first, that way you are able to get your park ticket with the package. Then you can move over to the Wilderness Lodge, room only with the discount.
