Free dining plan in 2008?

Does anyone know if they are going to offer the free dining plan for 2008 at the end of aug./ september, like they did last year and this year thanks

Yes, they are. If you were at Disney during Free Dining this month, you could book the Free Dining package for return next year. However, appetizers nor tips will be included.

I tried to get this free plan august 2007, but was told they were all gone. I then met several people at our resort that got the chance to take advantage of it. How do I get it this year? I would love to grab it when I reserve our vacation for april 2008, or is it only offered in the later summer months. Any specials i should know about for April?

I am hoping that they'll offer it to the general public rather than offering it strictly as a "bounce back". I can't wait to find out! I'll be booking my trip as soon as it comes out!

Looking to book trip first half of Sept 08 and hoping against hope that free dining plan wll be available. (Crossing fingers,toes, eyes....etc.)

The free dining is going to be avaliable for September 08 and is going to be for bookings made in the spring.

If you weren't able to book the BB in Sept.
I would apply for a Disney Visa because you will get 1st chance notice before it is offered to the public (that's how I got the offer for this years 2007-but knew that it may be coming thru the DIS boards).

I really love my DV and enjoy the rewards I can get with it.
We were lucky to be at WDW Resort and took advantage of the BB before
checking out of the resort.

Even being at WDW Resort at the BB offer there were alot of people who were not offer the FD BB offer (found out thru casual conversations)
so I wonder if Disney is not pushing it as much this coming year?
The FD BB may have only been offered to Guest who had a DV?
(I still haven't figured that one out).

I hope everyone can get a chance for FD--we really enjoyed it this Year!!!
One less expense to worry about.

We were offered the BB while at POP in late Sept. (maid service left a flyer in our room)and booked for late Sept. in 08, but we do have the DV so I can't speak for poeple that don't have it. They did have the flyers at guest services and people said it was mentioned on the TV disney channel at the resort so I would have assumed it was for everybody who saw the advertisement on TV.
Keep an eye out for April 9 that was when we booked last year.

They offered it to guests staying on site LAST December. We were there last Dec and booked the FREE DINING promotion for August/Sept. Not sure if they will offer it again in Dec, since they offered the BB to guests staying onsite in Aug/Sept this year...
