Free dining pin and split resort stay???

If both reservations are during the promotion, I don't see why you couldn't. Of course, you'd have to buy at least a 1 day ticket on the second reservation, which could negate any savings from the free dining.

I assumed since they said "A" free dining pin meaning one pin and using it like a split stay then no. You can make two completely differant ressies each with at least a one day ticket though

Okay, I'm confused. I've never done a split stay, but was considering it for an upcoming trip. I thought you could just get your package, but stay in two different resorts. For example, we wanted to do 3 nights at POR and 2 at the Poly. Also, wanted 6-day MYW base tickets and the dining plan for the 5 nights we'll be there. So, I thought we put it all together as a package? No???:confused3

You sure cant. Each resort is its own entity. You cant have one package with two differant resorts. You would have to have two completely separate reservations and if you want the dining plan on the second res you would need to have at least a one day ticket for everyone on the res.

Each resort is a new reservation. We are staying at BLT with free dining for 5 nights and then moving over to CSR for 3 more nights. I had to buy a one day base ticket at CSR in order to get the free dining. But I could use my pin on both reservations.

BUMMER!!! That completely messes up my plans.

It seems like it would only benefit Disney to allow it. I would be paying the extra $$ for the room at the Poly, and by staying there, I'd probably also be spoiled and want to stay there again in the future...

Okay, so here's my new plan. Do a package at POR for the room, dining plan for 3 nights and 6-day tix. Then do a room only at Poly for the next two nights. We'll just load up on food those first few days, and starve the next two :lmao:

your dining credits will be good from check-in at your first resort through Midnight of your check-out day (of your first resort), so if you budget your credits you can be well fed on all but your last day. LOL

Yeah, I did think of that. We really like O'Hana at the Poly, so we'll check out of POR in the morning, check into the Poly that day, and use our dining credits to eat at O'Hana that night! And actually, sometimes the dining plan is a bit much for the whole stay, so this may work out great.

We always have Counter Service left over, so I agree!
Happy Planning! :wizard:
