Free Dining Package

We are currently looking at the Free Dining package for our trip in May. What is the minimum number of park tickets you need to get to get the FD??

A 2 day base ticket for each person in your party is the minimum for a free dining package.

Everyone in your party has to purchase at least a two day park ticket in the FD package. Also, the minimum stay is 3 nights, even though their ad shows a 4 night/5 day example in the "special offers" section of the WDW website

Also note that you can add options and extra days onsite. This is helpful if you want to use your rewards card or gift cards.

Also, if you have an AP or other tickets from before, you can just request 'paper tickets' and keep them. Then you could use them later on, or apply them when renewing your AP.

You don't need to have "paper" tickets to keep them. You can just keep your key card until you are ready to use the tickets, as long as you do not use them for park entrance during your trip. Some will do that, some prefer to write something on the card with a Sharpie so they remember that there is a ticket on them and some prefer to have the "paper" tickets.
