Hi all- another first time poster, long time lurker :-) Finally decided to join in the frenzy- it's impossible to work under these conditions!!!:rotfl2:

I've been following this (including part 1) thread, and hoping to take advantage of a FD offer if (when) it happens tomorrow.

It will be our kids' first trip, and as many have said, FD would be the icing on the cake. pixiedust:

We are going October 26th-Nov 3rd, and staying at CSR. We will be there for three birthdays- myself and DS on Oct 29th, and DD the following day. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate- should be a magical trip!

Doesn't look like many people are booking at CSR! (good for me I guess!)
I still plan on being on the phone early tomorrow morning!

Good luck to everyone!

Throwing my hat in after reading (and stalking) this thread for a while now. I've had so many emotions...up, down, sad, excited, grateful, stunned. :headache: Now with the DV talk of tomorrow, I will revert to a little panic setting in. I have one on it's way but it's not here yet:rolleyes1 So I would be one of the few that do want it to go live for the GP. I know not everyone shares that thought (and I am sure IF my DV was HERE I would feel different) but after the roller-coaster I feel like we all have been on, I am just looking forward to tomorrow...and hoping that it's what we all want it to be. I've looked at so many options but really don't want any other one but option A for my family. Trying to let myself feel better that any place will be great once we are there and enjoying our time together but it's a cost issue for my family of 5. POR does save us quite a bit (up to $2900 depending on room category). Even going to a value (and then paying the extra to upgrade dining plan) does save us $$, just not nearly as much. So yes, I am selfish in that I want the bigger savings. I just wish I could blink and tomorrow was here :hourglass and ALL of us have been pixie dusted with FD at our first pick resort. :cloud9: Is that really too much to ask? :confused3

Today is the last day of the current September FD. I'm confused about your Plan D.

We're already booked, just wanted to move in to October if FDing was extended......if we can't get the resorts for October dates though, we'll just stick with our current reservations.

When I emailed my TA last night about the rumor going around about free dining coming out tomorrow and how certain resorts were excluded - this was her response:
"Something is definitely being released tomorrow, but the rumors going around are crazy. I have heard all kinds of different dates and different resorts that are not going to be included. This travel pixie is biding her time until it is official. I have all my files lines up and ready and will check every single reservation"....

So it is just wait and see......ugh...

That's so true, not everyone is looking to book the same days. Soooo....Who's going Oct 19-26 and wanting POR? If it's alot, I'm going to call dibs on a nice chase lounge on Ol' Man Island, LOL

I will be there the exact same dates! We are booked at POP but will be switching to CBR if we can! :goodvibes

We are currently booked for POFQ from Oct.29-Nov.6. We have never stayed at any other resort but, we have always had free dining in the past. DD13 and DD11 are extremely upset because we told them that we will be changing to another moderate if POFQ is not included. We will be having a family meeting tonight to decide on our back-up plan so we can let our travel agent know which moderate to switch us to.(We are lucky that our travel agent is awesome and has given us her cell phone # and told us to text her at any time.) Any suggestions on a new moderate? I feel like the kids will be disappointed with whatever decision we make since they had their hearts set on POFQ. We are considering Riverside or CSR. We are sooooo confused and can't make up our minds! Help!!!:confused3

Same dates, same boat as you!!!!!! Not sure if we're moving or not. One thing's for sure....I WILL be there! :confused3

Same dates for me too, guess we are gonna go for a royal room. Really wanted WL but the cheaper views are selling out! And this saves us like $1200!

I'm right there with you. I don't have a DV, so if it's not GP tomorrow I think I'll lose my mind :headache: It's selfish, I admit it but I just want to get this over with at this point, it's been too long a wait with all the PIN madness etc. Let's just do the GP and get it over with! :scared:

Me:

POP - Nov. 14-22, 2013 (Unless DH decides to change resorts) :cool1:

BC-10/29-11/8
Unless we change resorts, & get 2 rooms..hoping for a GP discount..sorry!
If it comes out tomorrow, I'll be on the phone to NYC to a Dr.'s appt..scary cellphone service..

I haven't really paid attention in the past.....does anyone have any idea how long it usually takes for the discount to be bookable on the Disney website?

It's usually takes a couple of hours after the phone lines open. It won't be bookabe till it shows up on the wdw site. I'm thinking around 9am. But who knows, maybe disney might have it up by 6 am.

i just want to say that every resort we visit is my kids' new favorite. since you have only ever stayed at POFQ, you don't know that you won't fall in love with a different resort! you're at WDW!!!

our favorite Mod is CSR, but we plan to stay at POR Royal Room in January. and once our youngest turns 3, we'll be POR people (or Deluxe, when we can swing it).

At least by this time tomorrow, something will be happening!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

We're 10/27 - 11/3 at Yacht Club. Hoping for a RO discount as it will save us more (2 rooms at YC, 4 adults, 2 "infants").
