Hello, good news, we just booked our trip to DW from 9-14-07 to 9-22-07 because the FREE DDP will be offered at that time. We received a AAA newsletter in the mail today and it advertises the Stay, play and Dine promotion from Aug. 5 to Oct. 3 2007. Our DW reservationist told us that if we booked today we would be eligible for the FREE dining promo, we just have to call back and have it added because it is not in their system yet. He told us it will be comming up in a few days to a week. We booked the Pop Century/ 9 days/ 8 nights/ Standard room/ All tickets with park hopper option and water park and more option for 2 adults and 2 children( age 9 and 12) and FREE DDP and free magical express for $1955.80. WOW what a deal!

Anyone else get AAA newsletters?

They have already listed a September Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining on the Disney TA site according to another site and a copy of the page was included. I also was able to get a peak at it too. The default check in date is 8/26/07.

You can't book anything as of now but they are getting ready to launch the special. You can try any dates but it says that they are outside of the range of the package.

having this show up so early on the TA site would be really early for a start date for bookings on 4/12 or for even 04/07. This would be way in advance if it started on 04/07 so I bet it will be sooner.

This won't help me and I am still keeping my fingers crossed for some type of discount for a little earlier in August, specifically starting on the 15th.

I usually do, but I haven't gotten one that stated this, however the last one I received was a few weeks ago.

I sent an email to my AAA agent with a copy of this post asking if this is true.

I am extremely skeptical that this would start on the dates noted in that quoted bit... as early as August 5th? That would be the earliest free dining ever I believe.

Further.. if this truly was out in an AAA newsletter.. I can't help but think it would be all over these boards in sixteen different threads with 14 levels of excitement.

I'd be delighted to be proven wrong on this.. BUT...

Remember folks - we are dangerously close to April 1st and some people's sense of humor may not match our own.

I have the AAA newsleter, it does say 8/5-10/3 and 11/25-12/19. 6 nights/7 days at at value resort, non hopper tix with dining $737 pp/do - junior $459, child $252. Unfortunatly we're staying at POR.

I have just searched their website and it says you can read it on-line but as I am not a member yet I can't get into this months one .

I only see the February newsletter online. That seems like a LOT of days for free dining (if it's free through them).

I read my newsletter yesterday, and there was nothing about free dining in mine. The price another poster has listed is not with free dining, at least not according to my calculations.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Please Please! Would make another trip in '08 possible for us!

I saw this too, and it's the same discount than I'm getting in April. This isn't a free dining offer. By the way, you can usually apply these to mod and deluxe accomodations too - you just have to adjust the price.

My math is not adding up to free dining but since math has never been my forte please help.

2 adults at $737 each = $1474

6 nights at value resort during value season @ $82 a night = $492 (I think.)
7 day passes for 2 adults = $420 (I think)

So I come with a total price for the 2 adults for room and tickets = $912

The "free dining "is costing $562 according to my math.

The AAA newsletter says nothing about free dining, this is just what the promotion is giving for information. I think you could do better booking the room using the AAA rate and tix individually. AAA has ASSp @ $65. before taxes on their site.

I just went and grabbed my AAA newsletter, and found this article in it, and your math is the same as my math. This offer isn't for free dining, you're definately paying for it.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for "the real free dining" announcement to come out soon!

I just got my AAA newsletter yesterday. It had nothing in it about the DDP deal.

That is just an add running in AAA that lists pricing to "Stay, Play and Dine" for $737 per adult. The dates are for 8/5 - 10/3 and then again for 11/25 - 12/19. The $737 is rack rate with regular priced 7 day base ticket and regular priced dining plan. It is NOT free dining, just full price value season pricing.

Now that the September offer is on the TA page and because of the dates that are being defaulted, 8/26 - 9/22 are probably going to be the dates for free dining. Now the wait begins for some of us and the party is over for others, me included in the last group.

Can anyone remember if they offered a discount on a MYW package closer to July for August last year? I think they offered $45 off a moderate on a room only last year closer to August but I don't know about a package.

I'll have to go check out the TA site, but I figured as far as AAA that the free dine wasn't the one that was mentioned (Disney wouldn't do free dining for months on end, it's more of an incentive for slow times!)

Also, the $737 per adult bases on adult double occupancy is in the Disney World vacation brochure (page 39).
