Free Dining - Just Keep Trying!

Well Gang, it only took 5 days of calling every morning for things to pay off!

I have been trying to get a Value for Aug. 16-23 since Friday. There was nothing available. On Sunday, I bit the bullet and booked CBR.

I called Monday. Nothing. Tuesday. Nothing. Called this morning. Viola!!! There were rooms available at Pop (Preferred View) and Music. We could have saved another $100 if we stayed at Music, but I took the room at Pop. DH and I stayed there last fall and really liked it. I hope that my DDs will like it too.

It saved us $365. I figure - if we only have one bathroom and 2 double beds in both places, why spend the extra money?

So I just wanted to encourage anyone who was trying to get into the Value that first week of Free Dining to keep trying! It may pay off for you.

YAY! I had Pop, but when I changed to CSR, then decided we couldn't spend that much and went to change back, Pop was gone. I tried for 2 days, and finally got it. IT is extra-challenging for us, since we take up 2 rooms (family of 6).

So, cool! You'll be at Pop when we are! We are there 8/12-8/19.

I just booked Pop too, after a few weeks of trying! I finally pushed back my dates from 8/19 to 8/20 and they had both standard and prefered available.

Just canceled a ressie for POP 8/13-20th with free dining. Might still be avail....HTH.

I just did the same thing this morning! I had to change my arrival date (didn't matter) and saved $473!

i am having the reverse problem, we have pop on aug 21-26-we want to upgrade to csr but nothing is available, the rest of the mods are but since we never stayed anywhere other than pop i thought we could try a mod. csr appeals to me the most, or perhaps because it is the newest of the mods, all i can do is keep calling, the cm said that a lot of ressies will cancel soon-the ones that are on a courtesy hold. hope one of those is csr
