Free Dining is confusing me.. ?

Ok So Just when I think I am getting our trip planned and kinda getting the hang of this I hear the Free DIning has been extended! (YAY).. So I have lots of Questions.. Could anybody please help me out, I'm new to all this!

My boyfriend & I are booked to stay All Star Movies Resort, Oct 3 - 8. We have a 3-day park pass now, but plan on adding one more day, But I see you have to have a 5 day .. so i'm thinking it would be worth it to add since it's not much more, then perhaps we could go to a park our arriving night, when we had just planned on going to Downtown Disney. Is this what you would all do?? ..

Second Question.. Since we are staying @ a value, we get quick service, right?

Do I need to call disney to have them add free dining and also add the extra park tickets, or do I do this at the front desk when we arrive?

Now since technically we will be there 6 days, but only 4 full days, on those 1/2 traveling days .. do we get the full plan that day? 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch/dinner, 2 snacks?

Is says we also get the refillable mugs, will they give them to us @ check in??

Now one day we have donalds safari breakfast planned, so we will pay oop that day, so do get 2 quick service meals that day, even though one won't be 'breakfast', or not??

I understand these Questions are crazy.. I would just love your help!!

Do I need to call disney to have them add free dining and also add the extra park tickets, or do I do this at the front desk when we arrive? You need to call ASAP as there are only a certain amount of rooms available for free dining.

Now since technically we will be there 6 days, but only 4 full days, on those 1/2 traveling days .. do we get the full plan that day? 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch/dinner, 2 snacks? You get the plan for every night you will be there. For you that would be 5. But, you can use your credits until midnight of your checkout day.

Your credits are not determined by meal type, i.e breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They're just meals that can be used at any part of the day and on any day during your stay. You can use them all in one day if you'd like or you can skip a day. It's up to you.

You do not have to have a 5 day pass, I called and booked our reservations for this deal and was told you have to have atleast 2 days of tickets. If you want to add more tickets, you can now or once you get there, I reccomend that you add now if you are sure, but it is no problem to do later. Personally, everytime we go to WDW we go to DTD our first night and usually our last day, we go to the parks all the other days.

Yes, when staying at a value you get free QSDP, which includes 2 QS meals, 1 snack and 1 resort refillable mug.

YES, call Disney asap. These rooms will fill up and since you already meet the requirements you might as well get the free dining. Now, do note this deal is not on top of any other discount you may have. If you have a room only discount, you may want to decide which is a better deal for you.

I described what you get above, now this is per person per number of nights you are there. They expire at midnight the day you check out. Only one mug per person durring the stay, but it is good your whole trip there for free soda, tea, coffee, hot cocoa at the hotel.

You will have to pay for your TS meals OOP. You are able to use your QS meals in any way you want to. EX. you can eat 3 in one day, 1 the other, 2 the next, etc. Just make sure you use them all, you can take left over snacks with you your last day. If you are wanting to eat a lot of TS meals, you can look into the cost to upgrade and pay the difference between the plans.

The mugs will have a credit on your KTTW card when you check in. You pick them up at the food court. Make sure you let them know to take it off the Key To The World card if you have charging privleges.

So If I call tomorrow you guys think I will be able to get it? I didn't realize only a certain amount of people would get the free dining!! Tomorrow if my birthday so I should have good luck!!

Call as soon as possible. If your resort is sold out for free dining, you may have to move to another resort, so keep some backups in mind. They can check for rooms at other value resorts if yours isn't available for free dining on your dates.

They don't give you mugs when you check in, there is a "mug credit" on your KTTW card. You pick the mugs up in the food court and they swipe the card to redeem your mug credits.

2 adults staying 5 nights on the quick service plan will receive 20 CS meal credits and 20 snack credits to use over the course of the entire stay. You do not have to use a certain number of credits per day. You just need to use all 20 of your meal credits and all 20 of your snack credits before midnight of the day you check out (that's AFTER checkout, not before) when they expire.

I called this morning and he was able to add the free dining to our trip!! I am so excited, I had been hoping it would be extended. At first it went up until Oct 2. ONE DAY BEFORE WE ARRIVE, and we wouldn't be able to leave one day earlier because of our jobs. So I just feee so blessed and happy. I just feel like this will save us so much money because we didn't plan on eating in too many table service places anyways. We aren't too big on fancy resturants. Burgers & Pizza is our thing!! ..I am just thrilled!!

Thank you guys for answering all my questions. I didn't realize you had to call to have it added on, I would of showed up in Oct thinking we would get the free dining and been truly dissapointed!! You guys rock...
