Free Dining in September??

Does Disney still typically offer free dining in September? Thanks!

as far as an offer made available to the general public (not just targeted offers via PINs) they have done so every year since 2005.

However, the availablity per resort is much more restricted lately, with several entire resorts being excluded on the last offer.

We have been in September and have had free dining before, we booked it the April before if that is any help at all

Riverside and POFQ were excluded from the general offers.

Likely that WDW could achieve the desired level of occupancy at these resorts without offering this particular discount. They are either popular with guests or have smaller capacities, or both.

These resorts, or at least some of them (I think GFV and AOA Little Mermaid were excluded from everything) were available on other types of free dining discounts, such as bouncebacks or PINs, just not on the general public offer.

GF villas were new.

As for as POR (which was a new exclusion), it's the cheapest resort for a family of 5 (until CBR opens).

Excluding it meant families either had to get 2 rooms or upgrade in price to a family suite. They offered a room discount for POR - and it worked. Coronado and many of the less popular resorts booked up with the discount.

GF villas is also by far the smallest villa property. It's only 147 villas and some will be connected to form larger villas. There likely aren't many rooms available to book outside of DVC.
