Free Dining in December?!?!?

I already posted this over on the Family Board, but things are so slow over there!!!

We are already booked for Disney from 12/9-12/16 with the DDP, but now I'm hearing about free dining durring that time?!?!? Whats the deal?? Can I still get in on this??? I have the Disney Visa card if that means anything..... Please help, because obvioulsy my AAA agent isn't much help!!

Call Disney directly. You are correct, if you have a Disney Visa you can get in on the deal. The only problem is, I don't know if you can keep your current ressies and I am hearing ressies are booked for a lot of places.

When was this announced??? I'm so upset that #1 I didnt know about it, and #2 that my AAA agent didn't tell me about it!!! ARG - I'm not going to be happy if I lose $$$ due to this!!! It would be SO AWSOME if we can get it!!!

I just went on disneyworld.com and they are down right now.... hopefully I'll be able to find out something soon!!!

I got a code for Free Dining 2 weeks ago through my Disney Visa. I had to change my dates by one day -(so I lost my ADR to LTT). It was good through 12-14 through 12-20. My TA booked my trip for me and she did state that rooms for this offer were very limited. I booked within 2 hours of getting the code so I got it. I am having trouble though getting the ADRs that I wanted. --

Last Friday, I got another code from Disney on roomrate only for these same dates. It seems that they are really trying to fill up rooms.

For me, the free dining was better than the room discount. I've gotta run now- but if you need the Disney Visa codes let me know -- oh, my TA did say that the free dining may go public.

Well from what I've found out, the free DDP is from 12/14 - 12/24.... We will be there from 12/9-12/16, so its not going to do us much good. So dissapointed!! Maybe they will open other earlier dates??? I'll call my AAA agent when they open and see what she has to say.
